Hi Sue,
I wanted to let you know that this was one of the best days ever.  We are
so in love with our little puppy.  We just adore his little personality and he
is even cuter in person, if that was possible.
My husband picked him up from the airport this morning and we surprised
the kids.
I wanted to let you know our family has decided to name him Cody.  It was
a name we all loved for him.  You can move forward in changing his
records to his new name.
I have attached a picture of our family (Zachary is 8yrs old and Reegan
turned 5 yrs old just Monday) with our newest addition.  I already can't
imagine our family without Cody and it has been less than 12 hours.  :-)
We promise to give him lots and lots of love.
Take care, Shauna
p.s.  I bought a bell today and we are trying to start training him on what it
means.  If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them.

Hey Sue !!!!!
Attached are a few pictures of my Little Leo. He is actually not so little
anymore, but that's ok, I love him anyway. He really is SO beautiful and these
pictures really do my baby NO justice at all. Like I told you earlier, they are
not the best pictures but I am sure you can at least get somewhat of an idea
what a moose he has become, and sort of see how his coat has changed. In
these pictures, you really can't see how much silver he really has is his coat,
but over the past several months, I can definitely see a difference. I would
guess by his next haircut, you will probably see more of the silver. He is so
darn cute and super, super, super, sweet, but like I told you yesterday, just a
little S-L-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-W. He is seriously like the biggest clown. He
really worries me sometimes, but I guess it will pass (I hope). I am going to
take your word on that 8-).  Everywhere we go, people ask me what breed he
is, and when I tell them, a Goldendoodle, they are amazed because of his
coat. Not may people have seen a Goldendoodle with his coloring or all of the
massive CURLS.   Leo and my little girl, Abbigail, both have their birthday on
August 18th, and I will be taking them for pictures, so I promise I will forward
some better pictures to you then.
Thanks Again !!!!!!!!!
Leo

Lacey
Sue,
Just dropping a note to update you on Lacey (Blondie's 03/03/09 liter).  I took vacation
upon her arrival, so for 10 days she never left me.  I played with her all day and noticed
she always went to get my house shoes.  So, on her first night, it went well because I had
a soft bed pad in her crate with one of my tee-shirts and a stuffed dog and my house shoe
which she sleeps on.

She is wonderful although she is already spoiled.  She stays at my wife's feet all day while
she works on a computer from home.  Then when I get home she comes running with an
exuberant greeting.  If we go off in the car she has a car seat in my car and a full back-seat
pet-blanket in my wife car, which has a pillow and her toys.  She stays with one or both of
us constantly from morning until bed time.  She loves her crate at night or whenever the
vacuum cleaner is running.  Since, I picked her up from the airport, I have gotten her use
to blow dryers and I held my electric razor close to her to prepare her for grooming.  Last
Wednesday was her first grooming, to which she did great ( I have attached a few picture
below.)  It was a light trim, more for getting her use to it, than needing a cut.

To show a bit of her personality.....she loves to be held.   If some of her toys are in her bed
room (yes she has her own room) and some toys in our room....she takes inventory of all
her toys every morning and she collects all of them into one room by her day-time bed (a
soft puffy pink bed).  She doesn't like to be told "no", but does mind when told that.  If I
set a phone or remote down and I tell her not to bother it, she doesn't bother it, but she
will bark at it.  She loves to play fetch and tug-of-war.  She loves to roll in grass and tries
to eat it too.  We get tickled at her because she likes to sneak into our closet and steal
either socks or house shoes.  Then she eases out the closet and once she reaches the
door she bolts to her day bed.

She will set, set-up and heel on command.....especially if a treat is the reward.  She never
meets a stranger and has a dog-pal next door.

She goes to the vet again next Tuesday for more shots.  I believe she is about 7 to 8
pounds now.  Will update you again around her 6-month.

Bottom line:
She is happy and makes us that way to.

Hello Sue,

Six-month update on Lacey, (Blondie & Cooper’s 03/03/09 liter).  I have included some photos to
show you how she has grown.  At three months she was 7.5 pounds and now at six-months she is
14 ¼ inches tall and 15 ½ pounds.

She is totally spoiled, but returns so much love and affection in return.  She follows us constantly
and loves to be held.  As you told me from the beginning….she just melts when her belly is
rubbed.  She is always with one or both of us and goes places with us too.  She has only been
alone for maybe 6-7 hours since I brought her home.

She has such excellent hearing, eye site and smell that she is an excellent alarm system, but not
much for protection because she loves everyone, all creatures, dogs, cats, rabbets, etc…  Not a
mean bone in her body.  Just full of love and play.  Everyone that meets her falls in love with her,
because she is so sweet.

She normally has complete run/access on the house, but she was just spaded yesterday, so she is
on light restricted play for a couple of weeks.  The vet wanted to keep her over-night, but I said no,
she will come home and I will watch her all night.  I could not stand the thought of her in a cold
kennel with no one around all night.  By-the-way....I will mail you a copy of the vet bill, so you can
send me her remaining papers.

She has in twined into our life so much we can’t imagine life without her.
